My style seems to change a little each year, but it always has some constants. These 'constants' are what make your style your own, even when you play with new trends. Mine are things that just feel good to me - like chicken soup when your sick! Overall, I would describe my style as eclectic, vintage, constantly evolving, favorite photos only and unpredictable.

Inspiration for my page designs is often developed from a journalling idea. It seems that in most cases I come up with a fun title or journalling prompt and then the page evolves from there. I then look to one of the 10 notebooks I have laying around the house for a sketch, color scheme, etc. to go on!

There are two main aspects that drive my layouts: Photography and Journalling! Every page or project gives me the opportunity to record a thought or showcase a favourite photo. I also love using vintage items on my projects - I think it's really cool to find a new use for something.

If I have scrappers block I either just walk away from the page or sleep on it. I figure that something will come to me eventually. I've also learned that if I'm not liking something, that I had better just start the whole thing over. I seem to have more success that way.

I love altering leftover chipboard letters and using them in my projects! One of my favourite things is to cover them with patterned paper. It's a great way to customise them to match your layout, and a fantastic way to use up all of those mis-matched pieces.
