I feel that my style is every style It's eclectic, graphic, linear, trendy and clean. I am heavily influenced by the trends. I like to try everything, new products, techniques - anything. This is why I don't feel like I have one defined style.

The planning and inspiration for my pages is focused around my photos. My photos are what drives and inspires me. I have two beautiful boys and when I take great photos of them I am always anxious to sit down and work. I pick my favourite photos - the ones that I am really drawn to and excite me or are favourite memories. Then, I pick out the paper and embellishments that I think will go with everything. I usually move everything around two or three times before I am happy and willing to permanently put it down. I am also really inspired by other scrapbookers and I love to look through magazines and idea books.

The whole Junkitz team are always looking for a new edge - in products and scrapping alike. I think the one thing that distinguishes Junkitz approach to the craft is that we are cutting edge. We (meaning me and all the other designers) are always thinking outside the box, even with basic everyday embellishments - what can be done to them, how can we make them unique or alter them.

My favourite product would have to be Junkitz Long Bradz. I love these because the tail end (the part you stick in the paper) is extra long. I can put it through embellishments and through the paper - and even through chipboard. It saves a step because you don't need to add adhesive. Long Bradz also come in so many colours that I can use them on every project.

Always remember that you don't have to scrapbook in order. Use the pictures that inspire you first. You also don't have to use every picture on a page. I keep a separate album for my photos that I don't want to scrapbook. I feel this keeps my scrapbooking fresh because I am excited and inspired by the photos I choose to use.
