I scrap in the 'Speed of Life' Style We create fabulous memories every day, but our lives are busy and time is precious. So I like to use materials that are high-quality, but easy to use. I am part of the scrapbooking market who loves the self-fulfilment of creation but don't feel they have all the time they would like to spend on the craft.

So many things inspire me but my photos are my main design focus. I am inspired and driven by all of those memories that refuse to be forgotten - family, friends, holidays, the first snow - just about anything. When planning a page I always look at my photos first then look for the products I want to use that accentuate the heart and soul of the picture.

I love products that provide a variety of materials, textures, and elements. The popular All My Memories Collections like Herbanella, Studio, Simple Sweet, or Couture all provide this for my pages. I like to start with a Simple Sweet Border Paper, a Couture Hex Paper, or a Studio or Herbanella Quad Paper. I have a templated 12in X 12in, 8in X 8in, or 6in X 6in page and can quickly embellish it to make it my own outstanding page with resins, rub-ons, embellishments, ribbons, fabric or stickers.

There are no rules to scrapbooking! I personally love memory crafting because there is no structured right or wrong way to do anything. As I teach classes or make and takes, it never ceases to amaze me that the same kit given to 50 students can look 50 different ways. Kind of like a recipe you share with 10 friends and get 10 different dishes with the same ingredients! Just go for it - do your own thing. There are so many fabulous products and tools to choose from so just have fun! If you do, you will keep memory crafting alive and well.
