My scrapbooking style is linear, clean and ever-changing. In the past, I've spent a lot of time trying to adopt the styles of artists I admire. Over time I've learned that I'm happier when I adapt certain aspects of their styles into my own, rather than just trying to copy their styles. My style is something that is still evolving and will continue to evolve as long as I scrapbook.

Colour is my biggest inspiration and motivator. I keep all of my photos in a divided 8in x 11in album and I'll flip through till I find something that sparks an idea. I always start my design process with the color palette. The color combinations I choose set a specific mood and tone and then the ideas evolve from there.

Journalling doesn't have to be expressed by words. I typically express my thoughts and feelings through my art - as opposed to words. Putting my feelings down artistically lets me really explore different means of communicating my personal connections.

Paper is definitely my favourite product! I love paper! I love the texture, the emotions, and the possibilities. I love old paper and imagining the history behind it.

Repositioning rub-ons? Did you know that you can remove a misplaced rub-on with scotch tape? It's true!! Just gently press it over the rub-on and carefully peel away.
