I like to use innovative ideas to avoid waste. Most of my pages start with a killer pattern paper or colour combo I find…and then I springboard from there. I don’t like a lot of scraps so I try to cut my paper so I have the least amount of waste. I also like to fold it to the back or side instead of cutting it off. In books it give you a starting point for the next page.

To me, scrapbooking is about recording ALL of your memories! I have a desire to capture every day moments too – not just the big events. The little things that make my day are the things that matter most and are easily forgotten.

My scrapbook pages reflect me and who I am. My style came about from a mix of my personality and style. I like my scrapbook pages and books to reflect my laidback attitude and my fun, yet simple style. I also like to cross over into all aspects of the craft. I started out making books and home décor items and now I am more into layouts, etc.

Cardstock is definitely my staple supply! I find myself doing layouts all the time with only cardstock. I enjoy the versatility it allows. You can ink it, tear it, die-cut it, punch it…you name it.
