MY STYLE IS STRONG AND COLOURFUL
I have been scrapping for over a decade, and so started with those colourful stickers and lots and lots of writing. I love strong designed paper and colours, and use these to reflect the mood and occasion.  I also think we are all so busy that scrapping is now about 'getting done' - and I am a get it done scrapbooker.  Any quick cheats, or quick products  - I use them all!

I PLAN AROUND THE MEMORY
When I start a page I usually pull out my photos and a pen and paper, and write the story I want to tell, or the memory and work the design totally around that.  I never start with the product first - otherwise I get a mind freeze!

I WANT TO PRESERVE MY LIFE
The need to scrap comes from the need to capture my life, my memories, or something about someone I care about.

MY SCRAPBOOKS TELL THE BAD ALONG WITH THE GOOD
I am a storyteller.  My scrapbook helps me tell my story, the story of my life, my good points, bad points, kids, struggles all that fun stuff with the tears thrown in.  I want my kids to know it is okay not to be perfect and not to be cheery 24/7, with a totally tidy house...

I COULDN’T GET BY WITHOUT GREAT CARDSTOCK
I love cardstock - it is the core product I use, and just grounds all the heavy designed papers, and brings everything together.

ASK WHY
My special trick is to ask myself WHY before each page.  WHY am I scrapping this photo...it helps!
