- What does it mean for you to be a part of the scrapbooking industry?
It means that I am fortunate enough to meet a lot of wonderful and inspiring people just about every day.
- What is your role at Xyron?
As a sales rep for Xyron, my involvement is that of selling and demonstrating our range of products used for scrapbooking.
- Do you scrapbook? Tell us a little about your style and how you came to scrap this way.
I’ve created a lot of projects for work, my family and myself. I’ve made jewellery boxes, photo frames, cards, albums, decorated candles and a lot of other papercraft projects. I wouldn’t say I have a particular style as such – I just like to have fun while creating something special!
- Where do you find the greatest inspiration for your product lines come from?
The Xyron motto is ‘Making it easy to be creative’. Xyron products are specifically designed to help reduce the mess and time that scrapbooking can involve, making it more enjoyable and fun!
- What do you think is the one thing that distinguishes your products in this industry?
At the various Craft Shows held during the year, I demonstrate and conduct workshops for the public and it never ceases to amaze me the overwhelming response I get when they use our Xyron products. They can’t believe the ease and speed at which they can create a unique and special project.
- What is your all time favorite product?
My all time favorite would have to be the Xyron 510 Creative Station which is an all in one sticker maker, magnet maker and laminator. It’s just so versatile. Being able to apply adhesive, laminate and make magnets out of just about anything is fantastic, and it’s just so quick and easy it saves me so much time and there’s no mess. If anyone has ever tried making their own invitations, greeting cards, place settings or recipes etc they know just how long it can take to get everything just right. With the Xyron 510 all you do is feed your item into the machine, turn the handle, trim, and you’re done!
- Do you have any special tips or tricks that you would like to share?
My tip would be to remember that craft and scrapping should be about having fun and making something special you and your family and friends will love. It doesn’t have to feel like work. So next time you find yourself ‘working’ on a project, try one of the Xyron products and see what a difference they can make.
