Latest Tip: Sticker storage by Crop-In-Style can also be used for storing emblishments.  Its easy to flip through pages to see exactly what you have. They come in different sizes so can store most things without damaging them. I use a post bound album to store all the pages. ... read more

Baby Doll Dress
By Michelle Hartjes

Products

Imaginisce Baby Powder Collection: Tiny Tantrum paper, Queen of the Crib paper, Oopsie Daisy paper, Shake, rattle and roll rub-ons (pink), Baby talk journaling tags, Blossom brads dark pink, ribbon and blooms (flowers, ribbons, ricrac)
Autumn Leaves buttons, pink gel pen, cream Vandoros ribbon, Pritt Power Gel, Helmar 450 ribbon adhesive, Pritt glue stick.

Instructions

  1. Fold a 6 x 12 inch panel of polka dot paper in half.  Position the dress pattern onto the paper with the shoulder lining up with the folded edge.
  1. Trace the pattern with pencil and cut out, being careful not to cut across the shoulder seam.
  1. From the off-cut trace the shoulder strap section.  This can also be cut on the fold and then cut into two pieces; one for each shoulder.
  1. Use a pink gel pen to create stitch lines around the curved line.  Place a blossom brad in the centre of each section before adhering to your card.
  1. Use your template to trace a decorative strip of green and pink patterned papers. Cut along the bottom of the green strip with scallop scissors.
  1. Adhere to the base of the dress. Trim the pink decorative strip to fit across the waist of the dress.
  1. Decorate and embellish dress with rub-ons, flowers and buttons. Place a journaling sticker on the inside of your card to write your personalized message.
