Christmas Card using Imaginisce “ Snowy Jo” products

BY LIBBY SAVAILLE

What you will need

Imaginisce cardstock – 000789 “Snow Soiree”, 000790 “Jingle Baubles”, 000791 “Cup o’ Cheer

Imaginisce Embellishments – 000810 Tinsel Tag stickers, 000808 Snowball Brads, 000794
Fa la la Rubons, 000806 Gumdrop brads.

Narrow double sided tape, foam tape, Craft Knife, ruler, ¾” circle punch, white cardstock.

Method

  1. Cut “Snow Soiree” card 15.5cm x 30.5cm.
Score on the red side at 11cm then 22cm from left hand side. Fold up to a tri-fold card as shown with Red on the inside.

Measure down 5cm from the top of the card on the exposed edge. Score from this point up to the top right hand corner. Fold back to expose a red triangle as shown. Attach a “peace” snowball brad though the triangle and stick down with a piece of foam tape.

Cut a 4cm x 14cm strip of “Cup o’ Cheer” card (words side) and attach to a 4.5cm x 11cm strip of “Cup o’ Cheer” (red snowflakes side). The narrower strip should protrude 3cm on the left side.

Score and fold back the excess words strip by 3cm.Your strip should now be the same width as the folded card. Stick to the front of the card 4.5cm up from bottom edge. Attach 2 Gumdrop brads as shown 4.5cm from the left of the words strip.
Punch 2 x ¾” circles from “Cup o’ Cheer” card (red snowflakes side). Cut in half and using narrow tape adhere to the edge of the front flap. Stick down the remaining end of the strip so that the back of the brads are covered.
Using the craft knife and ruler cut a 6cm x 3cm window in the front of the card below the strip.

Cut a 15.5cm x 6.5cm strip of “Jingle Baubles” card (vertical stripe) and a 15.5cm x 7cm strip of “Cup o’ Cheer” card (red snowflakes side). Layer stripe on top of red and stick down. Stick this to the inside front flap of the card so that the stripe is showing through the front window. Adhere a “joy” sticker and a “Merry Christmas” rub-on to the stripe card strip so that the rub-on shows through the window.

Finish by attaching a 12cm x 8cm piece of white cardstock to the inside of the card using 4 gumdrop brads.
