    • Patterned Paper- Cloud 9 ‘Sunrise Smoothie’ papers : Floral Stripe & Sunrise Dots – Teal
    • Alpha Stickers- Sunrise Smoothie Medium Alphas & Numbers Cardstock Stickers
    • Embellishments- Sunrise Smoothie 3D Chipboard Stickers
    • Fiskars Border Punch- Threading Water & Leave It To Weaver
    • Fiskars Personal Trimmer
    • Fiskars Ultra Shape Xpress
    • Fiskars Ovals-1 Template
    • Fiskars Cutting Mat
    • Yellow satin ribbon
    • Black ink
    • Ranger Distress Ink– Old Paper
    • Blue pen
    • White Souffle Pen
    • Sandpaper

    Method

    1. Using the Fiskars Personal Trimmer cut two 5cm pieces from the ‘Sunrise Dots – Teal’ paper.  Use the Fiskars ‘Leave It To Weaver’ border punch to punch the entire 12” length of one piece, then slightly offset the punch and do the same with the second piece.  Trim off one edge on both pieces so that you are left with a ‘fringe’.  GENTLY sand the edges of the patterned side of one, and the plain blue side of the other.
    1. Cut a 1cm wide strip of the ‘Sunrise Dots – Teal’ paper and sand the edges of the patterned side.

    1. Cut a 0.5cm wide strip of the ‘Floral Stripe’ paper; cut so that the stripes run across the width of the paper, as pictured.  Sand the edges of the patterned side.
    1. Attach the 0.5cm strip and 1cm strip to the blue fringed piece, as pictured, and then mount that onto the patterned fringed piece.  Adhere to the Bazzill approximately 2cm from the right edge.

    1. Punch the entire 12” edge of the reverse (yellow) side of the ‘Floral Stripe’ paper with the Fiskars ‘Threading Water’ punch.  Cut the punched edge off so that your strip measures 1.5cm wide.  Turn the punch over, insert the strip, align the holes in the paper with the marked holes on the punch, and punch the straight side.  If successful (mine was close enough to be good enough), you will be left with a punched ‘chain’.  GENTLY sand the edges on the reverse side of the paper (plain yellow).  Adhere to the right hand side of the Bazzill in the space between the edge and the fringed pieces.
    1. Cut and punch several 2” wide strips of the reverse (yellow) side of the ‘Floral Stripe’ paper with the Fiskars ‘Threading Water’ punch – enough to frame your photograph.  Make corners by turning the punch upside down and aligning the hole on two of the strips.  Align the scallops to form a frame.  Depending on the size of your photo, you may have to trim it slightly to fit.  Adhere your photo on top of the frame so that the frame becomes a mat.  Sand the scalloped edges.

    1. Use a diecut patterned paper as a template (if you have one), or draw an Artisan pattern freehand onto the patterned side of a 16.5cm x 22cm piece of ‘Sunrise Dots – Teal’ paper, as pictured.  Sand the edges of the reverse (blue) side.
    1. Cut a strip of ‘Sunrise Dots – Teal’ paper and punch with the Fiskars ‘Leave It To Weaver’ border punch leaving about 2cm unpunched at one end (this will become the top, rounded end).  Trim and round edge to fit on the left hand side of your Artisan piece, as pictured.  Sand the edges of the patterned side and thread the yellow ribbon through the slots and knot.  Attach to your Artisan piece.

    1. Attach matted photo to the Artisan piece and dot around the edges of the Artisan with the white Souffle pen.
    1. Attach Artisan to the Bazzill approx. 2cm from the top of the page, and centered in the available space, as pictured.

    1. Punch the left and bottom sides of the white cardstock with the Fiskars ‘Threading Water’ punch (to make the corner, turn the punch upside down and align the hole).  Trim your cardstock to measure 22cm x 8.5cm.  Ink the edges and the holes with Distress Ink.
    1. Using the USX and template, cut a scalloped edge along the edge of the ‘Floral Stripe’ paper; cut so that the stripes run across the width of the paper, as pictured.  Using your trimmer, cut that edge off so that your piece is approx 3cm wide.  Sand the edges.

    1. Attach ‘Floral Stripe’ strip to the bottom, punched side of the white, punched card, then attach that to the Bazzill below the Artisan.
      • Finish your layout by adding a title and embellishing with the 3D Chipboard Stickers.  Journal in the space left on your white card using the blue pen.
