by Annette Hanigan

For this Project you will need:

Tools:

  • Fiskars ® trimmer
  • Fiskars ® Micro tip soft touch scissors
  • Fiskars ® Border Punch” Leave it to Weaver”
  • Fiskars ® Border Punch “ Threading Water”
  • Fiskars ® Squeeze Punch X-large “circle”
  • Fiskars ® Squeeze Punch Large “my funny valentine”
  • Fiskars ® Squeeze Punch Large “seal of approval”
  • Fiskars ® Fingertip Control Craft knife
  • Fiskars ® Clear Stamps “Wishes All Around”
  • Fiskars ® Clear Stamps “Punch Love”

Materials:

  • Heidi Grace Designs™ Forever Love/Celebration of Love Glitter Cardstock Paper
  • Heidi Grace Designs ™ Forever Love/Orchid Delight Glitter Cardstock Paper
  • Heidi Grace Designs ™ Clear Flourish Stickers/Forever Love
  • Heidi Grace Designs ™ Clear Alpha Stickers/Forever Love
  • Heidi Grace Designs ™ Dimensional Words Stickers/Forever Love
  • Ink – brown and black
  • Watercolour pencils and water brush
  • Kaiser Rhinestones
  • Ribbon – Tarisota collections
  • Bazzill Basics white Cardstock
  • Needle and white thread
  • Assorted pearl beads of your choice

Instructions:

  • Step One:
    Matt photos with white bazzill.

  • Step two:
Distress the edges of Celebration of Love paper measuring approx 24.5cm x 17.5cm using the fingertip control craft knife by dragging up and down the edge until the desired effect is achieved. Adhere to white bazzill as shown.

  • Step three:
Cut a strip of Orchid Delight paper approx 3cms wide to run the length of the above PP. Punch one side with the Threading water border punch and the other side with the Leave it to Weaver border punch, using the photo as a guide. Randomly thread ribbon through, pausing to knot in the centre at some stage before continuing on. Gently tuck the edge under the brown pp so the ribbon is resting along the edge and adhere to the page. Be sure not to adhere the scalloped edge as you will need to work under here.

  • Step four:
Using the “my funny valentine” heart punch, punch along the edge of the paper, so as to only punch out the top section of the heart, adhere just under the scallop edge directly onto white bazzill.

  • Step five:
Apply letter stickers to form your title. Stamp the journaling block and punch out using the X-large circle punch. Also stamp a decorative love heart and trim around the edges using soft touch scissors, gently colour and wash with water.

  • Step six:
Using the photo as a guide embellish your layout using clear stickers, stamped images and punched out shapes. Attach beads using the needle and thread through the holes on the Threading Water border. Use dimensional tape to get height in your embellishments.

  • Step seven:
Finish off by adding a hand drawn double border and colouring and some Kaiser rhinestones. Some cross stitches in 3 corners and journaling up the sides and you are done!
